The House
The Victorian house, with its Oregon pine floors
and ceilings, is over 100 years old and has plenty of character. Its main
feature is its spaciousness. It is centrally situated in a quiet street in the
historic part of Montagu, within walking distance of restaurants, shops, banks,
the information bureau, museums and other tourist attractions. The beautiful
Lover's Walk is only five minutes away and the start of the hiking trails 10 to
15 minutes. The drive to the Mineral Springs takes six to seven minutes. Behind
the house is a private garden where guests can relax. The garden is shared by
the main house and the self-catering unit, an old coach house which has been
converted into a quaint, fully equipped cottage.
