Swartberg Nature Reserve
A lush valley filled with ecological, cultural and historical sites in the Swartberg Nature Reserve. The kloof was once the home of a small isolated farming community that lived there in the 1830�s.
Accommodation consists of restored, self-catering cottages with an old world charm equipped with bedding and solar power for lights. There are also 10 campsites (max 6 people per site) and a no-frills 12-bed reed bush shelter.
Activities include a 4x4 route, mountain biking, day hikes, freshwater angling and canoeing on the Gamka River.
