Buffalo Hills Private Camp & Game Reserve, situated in the scenic Bitou River valley, is the first Big Six Reserve on South Africa's malaria-free Garden Route Coast. It offers guests the opportunity to view game close-up, while providing luxury holiday accommodation.

Accommodation

Accommodation at Buffalo Hills Private Camp consists of luxury en-suite rooms, luxury en-suite tented lodges and a self-catering cottage. The tented lodges have spa baths, showers and small lounges.

Dining

Buffalo Hills offers memorable dining in two unique venues: Jungle Jack's - a luxury, informal, traditional restaurant - and an outdoor boma, where we serve traditional braais (barbecue - South African Style) and potjies (one-pot meals cooked over outdoor fires in three-legged African pots.

Their famous JJJ Nyati Mampoer - which has thrice been voted Best Mampoer in the Country - is distilled at Buffalo Hills. Learn about this delicately flavoured alcohol - a much-loved South African specialty - on one of their regular distillery tours.
