Keurbooms Nature Reserve
The beautiful Keurbooms River Nature Reserve is situated near Plettenberg Bay on
the garden route. The Keurbooms Canoe Trail on the Keurbooms River is the best
fun excursion yet. Load your provisions in your own or hired canoe and paddle
for seven km, surrounded by steep gorges, riverside vegetation and colourful
birds at close range.
The secluded Whiskey Creek log cabin on the shore
of the riverbank, is solar powered with a braai on deck, a modern bathroom and
well-equipped kitchen. Enjoy freshwater angling, swimming, snorkeling and shaded
picnic spots along the canoe trail.
