Welcome to Rothman Manor. This guest house is
situated at the beginning of the famous Garden Route in Swellendam, South
Africa. about 200km east of Cape Town, offering exclusive accommodation, which
should satisfy the spoilt traveler.
Relax while you enjoy the private
atmosphere of one of the largest historic estates in Swellendam. Enjoy German
hospitality in the wonderful and unique South Africa.
Location & Facilities
On more than 3 hectares are two National
Monuments, both build in the year 1834. The houses were build in the typical
Cape Dutch style. Each room has a private entrance and bathroom en-suite. All of
the rooms are decorated with love to the detail in a blend of African and
European style. They are equipped with: Satellite TV, telephone, Internet
connection, well stocked minibar, coffee and tea facilities, safe, ceiling fans,
marbled bathroom floors with undertile heating, hairdryer in bathroom and pure
cotton linen. The thatch roof and the solid walls keep the temperature very
pleasant.
In the immediate neighborhood is a restaurant
which serves selected and delicious dishes. It is easy accessible by foot and we
can highly recommend it.
