Oakvale Lodge
Oakvale Lodge guest house is a large family home, offering spacious bed and
breakfast accommodation with private, separate entrances in a friendly and
welcoming environment.
Situated in the Cape Town suburb of Rondebosch,
Oakvale Lodge is ideally situated for easy access to the city, University of
Cape Town, Newlands rugby and cricket grounds and various tourist attractions.
Accommodation
The three comfortable accommodation suites have
separate entrances and en-suite bathrooms, all are equipped with microwaves,
kettles, courtesy bar fridge, satellite TV and numerous other touches to make
guests feel at home.
The latest addition is the Garden Room, with a
private shady patio, magnificent mountain views and easy access to the
beautifully maintained gardens and sparkling pool.
Oakvale Lodge is a family home and the decor is elegant but comfortable.
Large windows in the living room allow the sunlight to stream through and
provide expansive views of garden and mountains.
Squirrels are abundant
in the well kept gardens with its rolling lawns, shady trees and colourful
flower beds, overlooked by the imposing bulk of Table Mountain. A sparkling,
solar heated pool is the central feature of this magnificent setting and is
easily accessible from all the rooms.
Dining
Guests are invited to join the family around the
imposing dinner table for breakfast (and other meals by arrangement) or they are
welcome to enjoy them in the privacy of their rooms. A large number of excellent
restaurants are within a few minutes drive, your hosts will be happy to offer
advice.
