On the wooded slopes of Table Mountain bordering the Orange Kloof Nature Reserve, where squirrels scamper, frogs croak and geese guffaw, lies Forest Lodge, a pretty house in the beautiful setting of an English country garden with lovely mountain views.

Accommodation

Accommodation at Forest Lodge is offered in 3 options:

The Cottage: a spacious and comfortable self-contained apartment in beautiful and peaceful countryside ideal for a couple or a couple and two children.

Accommodation consists of a spacious family room furnished with a queen sized bed, double bed sleeper couch, couch, satellite TV; a small, well equipped kitchen; and a bathroom with both a bath and shower. There is also a swimming pool and excellent outdoor entertainment area.

The Main House: The Main House has all the equipment and appliances associated with any comfortable family home. This includes a washing machine, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave etc.

Accommodation consists of a main bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a door opening directly onto the garden, and 2 bedrooms sharing a bathroom.

Reception rooms comprise an open plan arrangement of an ante room, sitting room and dining room. There are two French Doors leading onto the terrace above the swimming pool. The dining room is separated from the kitchen by a large counter, which is ideal for informal meals.

The Main House and Little Cottage can be booked together to accommodate 10 guests.

Activities

Hout Bay has much to offer right on the doorstep including: safe bathing and water sports, mountain hikes, horse riding, big game fishing, scenic drives and walks, and excellent restaurants. The Victoria & Alfred Waterfront and the Table Mountain cableway are also nearby.
