The Lagoona, on the shores of the beautiful Knysna Lagoon, is a country Inn which has that certain something that makes people want to return. It exudes warmth and friendliness which is typical for our Austrian host Gunter Pichler and wife Alison.

Lagoona Inn is ideally situated in the picturesque town of Knysna. The ambiance is a unique international blend of superb hospitality, cuisine and service. Every one of our 17 bedrooms and 3 suites enjoys spectacular panoramic views of the mysterious beauty of Knysna.

The sparkling lagoon surrounded by an amphitheatre of mountains and forests creates a wonderful natural canvas, not only for the first time visitor but also for the many artists who have made this area their home and inspiration.

Our swimming pool, sauna and barbecue facilities are set in lush semitropical gardens right on the property. The roof-top provides the ideal terrace for sun-bathers.

A satellite television lounge is also accessible for those who want to keep in touch with the outside world. Our in-house restaurant and bar offer local specialties, fresh fish and superb grills.

The championship golf course at Sparrebosch and the tree lined Knysna golf course are right on our doorstep. Take a walk along the lagoon walkway that starts directly opposite Lagoona Inn and leads into the charming town of Knysna. Indulge in a game of tennis, squash, forest walks, beach walks, fishing trips and boat trips - all within walking distance of our premises.
