High in the hills above Knysna lies the historic estate of Portland Manor. Portland is a 212 hectare (520 acre) working fruit farm, growing citrus fruit and plums. With far-reaching views of the Outeniqua Mountains, the estate provides a delightful setting, whether you�re spending the night, looking to relax for the evening or wish to hold a social or corporate event.

Accommodation

Portland Manor has a variety of rooms to satisfy most criteria. We have rooms available in both the Manor House and also the custom-built Lawnwood Lodge. All Manor House bedrooms have tea and coffee making facilities and hairdryer. To retain the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere of the Manor, there are no in-room telephones or televisions. There are eight tastefully decorated and comfortable bedrooms within the Manor, selected rooms have 4 poster beds and spectacular views over the game park and lake to the Outeniqua Mountains in the distance.

Here at Portland Manor we offer a variety of services to our guests, and all manner of interesting activities to help while away the days. Our services include: Room service, Fax/email/internet facilities, laundry service, airport transfers, car hire, guided tours and baby sitting.
