Situated in South Africa�s picturesque Garden Route, Eight Bells Mountain Inn nestles in the Ruiterbos Valley Region at the foot of the Robinson Pass on the R328 between Mossel Bay (35kms away) and Oudtshoorn (50kms away). The Inn�s proximity to the green coastal scenery of the Garden Route and the timeless Little Karoo allows for easy exploration of the natural wonders, scenic mountain passes and diverse attractions that the two regions have to offer.

Accommodation

Delightfully furnished en-suite rooms, thatched rondavels and alpine chalets are set in enchanting gardens shared by an abundance of birdlife. These include various comforts such as under floor heating, air-conditioning and sundecks with amazing mountain views.

Dining

Breakfast, consisting of a buffet and a cooked English breakfast, is served in The Oak Room Restaurant. Beverages, teatime treats, light snacks and a mini a la carte menu are available to guests throughout the day, served in the gardens, at the pool or on our enclosed Patio. Room Service is also available.

The main building houses the reception office, an elegant lounge, Bosun's Whistle Pub, The Oak Room Restaurant, billiard and darts room, children's lounge, enclosed sun room and exterior patio area.

Eight Bells is situated on a 400 acre estate. Outdoor facilities consists of a bell shaped swimming pool - with small kiddies pool - sun loungers and a thatched boma, 2 all-weather tennis courts, a glass-back squash court, bowling green, The Rooster walking trails - marked and colour coded - and horse trails. Hour long horse outrides are conducted by a guide twice a day, as well as paddock rides for beginners - weather permitting. Donkey cart rides for the children take place once a day after breakfast.
