Oue Werf Guesthouse, a homestead quietly nestled in the charming Schoemanshoek valley only 15 Km from the world famous Cango Caves toward the majestic Swartberg.� The awe inspiring Swartberg pass carries the traveller over the� mountain to Prins Albert, through the Meiringspoort, crossing the river 32 times, through De rust and back to Oudtshoorn and Schoemanshoek.

Rooms

Marius and Annelie welcome you to their owner-managed guesthouse. Enjoy the luxury of one of the double or twin bedded rooms furnished with antiques, some still with original reed ceilings.� The five en suite bedrooms have private entrances and are set apart from the main house.� All the rooms have a colour TV with Mnet, tea and coffee trays,� fridges, hairdryers, alarm clocks and a safe.� Ceiling fans, heaters and electric blankets ensure comfort in all weather conditions.

Thoughtfull touches and constant attention to detail ensures a special romantic stay.

The warmth and hospitality is enhanced by an abundance of fresh flowers throughout.

Facilities

On sunny days you can� enjoy tea, coffee, something cold or what is offered� to eat by the Teagarden next to the sparkling swimming pool.� Enjoy the song of the indigenous birds and the sweet fragrance of delicate roses blooming in abundance around you.

The farm dam surrounded by willows and hanging bird nests, with foefieslide, and raft, ensures that the youngsters enjoy themselves as well.

Soft candle light and fresh flowers warm the cozy antique furnished dining room.� Together with the high beamed ceiling and teracotta floor, a relaxed setting is created in which to enjoy a superb home-cooked country dinner - (on request)

In winter you will enjoy the peaceful and relaxed atmosphere in front of a log fire.

Our guests will enjoy a hearty farm breakfast in the dining room or at the gazebo facing spectacular views of the Swartberg Mountains.
