Milkwood Manor

Milkwood Manor is in a unique position, as it borders on a natural bird sanctuary that is adjacent to Lookout Beach - so named for its spectacular views - the Keurbooms River Mouth and Keurbooms Lagoon. One may enjoy exhilarating walks along the pristine seashore or choose to roam the wetlands area alongside the lagoon, which teems with an amazing variety of birdlife.

The river may be navigated by motor boat or further explored by canoe through fascinating gorges towering amidst indigenous forests. Bay cruises are an added attraction, especially when encountering whales and dolphins. Colonies of seals may be viewed from close up. Yet the Manor is not isolated, but a mere 10 minutes' scenic stroll from the centre of the charming seaside village which encompasses a medley of ethnic and continental shops as well as sophisticated restaurants.

Accommodation

Each of the 13 exclusive rooms provides a private bathroom, TV (including M-Net, Supersport and Discovery channels), hairdryer, safe, fan and tea & coffee making facilities.

The upstairs cosy lounge features an open fireplace and the top deck affords panoramic views. The large secluded pool is ideal to laze by. With style and elegance, yet informal and friendly, Milkwood Manor will reward you with a holiday that will long be remembered.
