Leopards Lair Guest House in Heidelberg is conveniently nestled halfway between Cape Town and Knysna, on the N2. Here you will find the Leopard willing to share the topmost branches of its Lair with you�. expect hospitable, friendly service and a welcoming glass of dessert or sparkling wine on arrival. We are also SATOUR accredited.

Our facilities include � upstairs: 2 x double bed rooms with en-suite showers, 2 x twin bedded rooms with en-suite showers, and a guest lounge; downstairs: a guest lounge with TV and dining room; and outside: an under-thatch braai/barbecue area. We serve a full English breakfast.

The Area

With the Langeberg Mountains to the north and the Breede River Mouth, Witsand (South Africa�s Whale Nursery) and De Hoop Nature Reserve to the south, Heidelberg is an excellent base from which to explore the hidden treasures of the Garden Route. Bird watching, indigenous forest, fynbos, several species antelope, endemic plants and animals can be found in Grootvaderbosch Nature Reserve and Conservancy nearby. Hiking and biking trails. Picnic baskets can be arranged.
