Located on the outskirts of Stellenbosch on the magnificent Helshoogte Pass, is Le Pommier Country Lodge. Overlooking the lush Banhoek Valley with breathtaking views of both the Simonsberg and Drakenstein mountain ranges, the atmosphere at Le Pommier is one of tranquil sophistication and timeless charm - a place where you will be unobtrusively pampered.

From here Le Pommier guests are not only able to explore picturesque Stellenbosch with its endearing historic charm, but also the many superb wine estates that are a hallmark of this beautiful region - Paarl and Franschhoek included.

Accommodation

Le Pommier is a small, intimate Cape lodge where each of the six suites has been individually appointed to the highest standards of charm, elegance, and sophisticated comfort - in an exclusive and tranquil setting, far from the madding crowd. Each has spacious bathroom and private verandah.

Guests who prefer the privacy of their own cottage are invited to book one of the two self-catering units. The two cottages, which are situated in the grounds within easy walking distance of the Lodge, both have superb views. The cottages can accommodate four and six people in double rooms respectively.

Facilities & Activities

Facilities include secure shaded parking, daily laundry service, twelve hour room service, twenty-four hour, eight channel satellite television, conference and secretarial services.

Daily activities include photographic safaris, golfing, mountain trailing, trout fishing, horse riding, walking, mountain biking and jogging. After a day of sightseeing and exploring, cool off in our crystal clear garden pool, then simply sit back and savour the very atmosphere that creates Le Pommier.
