Soverby Guest House stands dappled in the shade of ancient oak trees. Yesteryear's wine cellars have been transformed to provide refined living for the honeymoon couple, the lone traveler, a family, or two groups of friends exploring the winelands together.

Accommodation

Soverby has eight rooms in total:

4 double rooms, each with a double bed and its own bathroom with sit-in shower.

1 twin room, with two single beds and a bathroom with sit-in shower.

1 honeymoon suite with a double bed, Victorian bath and shower as well as a fireplace.

2 family/executive suites:

1 with an entrance hall with a spiral staircase leading up to a loft with a day-bed that can be folded out to two single beds, which are also close enough to serve as a double bed. Downstairs is a room with a double bed leading into the bathroom with a sit-in shower.

1 with two separate rooms, the first with 2 single beds and the other with a double bed. Both share a bathroom with sit-in shower.

There is also a self-catering cottage, including a lounge/dining area with DSTV, a kitchen with hob and microwave, and a bathroom with a bath and shower, all downstairs.

Upstairs is an open-plan bedroom with one double bed and two single beds, with divider, connected to the bottom by a spiral staircase.

All rooms stand apart from the main house, and each has its own courtesy fridge, television, telephone and coffee/tea making facilities with home-baked rusks.

There is one swimming pool at the cottage, and another at the guest house.

Dining

Soverby is well-known for its superb breakfasts which include its famous fruit and muesli. Fransina and Linda have worked at Soverby since the Guest House opened.

Soverby is situated on Annandale road, Lynedoch, in the Stellenbosch winelands.
