Lanzerac is seated on a 300 year old, 155 hectare country estate, prevails one of the region's most distinguished examples of Cape Dutch Architecture, maintaining the elegant atmosphere of a gracious age.

As a member of one of the Gatsby International Hotels, we understand that exclusivity is the key to an unforgetable stay.

For this reason, we limit accommodation to 48 spacious rooms, including 5 Junior Suites, the luxurious Royal Pool Suite with it's own private swimming pool and the Presidential Suite. All rooms and suites open out onto private patios overlooking lush vineyards, landscaped gardens and the majestic Helderberg mountains.

Grading: 5 Star. 48 Rooms all en-suite. All rooms are individually decorated and feature a private patio overlooking the vineyards or sculpted gardens.

Business assistance including typing, faxes and other routine services are available, as are self-drive and chauffeur-driven car hire, excursions, laundry and dry cleaning, mini-bus, private limousine and baby-sitting service.

Medical services are available. Leisure activities include golfing, swimming (3 private pools), hiking, mountain biking, walks through the magnificent grounds of the estate and historical walks through the town of Stellenbosch.

The hotel is with in easy reach of the Cape�s most celebrated wine farms, golf courses and beaches - the perfect base from which to explore the landmarks of the fairest Cape.

A wide variety of tours are available to cater for individual requirements. Experienced guides will provide fascinating cultural information regarding the history of each destination. Further excursions include cruises around the Cape Peninsula, ballooning and helicopter flights, affording a bird's eye-view of the breathtaking winelands and Cape coastal and mountain regions.
