De Waterkant Lodge, originally built over 150 years ago, has been carefully restored and furnished with a collection of beautiful Cape antiques. Offering 5 rooms in the Main Lodge and 7 in the Annex, all rooms have either private or en-suite bathrooms.

Guests in the Lodge and Annex enjoy access to the swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi and steam bath. Or enjoy a drink with us on our rooftop patio enjoying the magnificent view of Table Mountain, the harbour and the city.

Cottages

De Waterkant Lodge offers a selection of two bed roomed cottages, available for rental on a self-catering basis. Situated in the immediate surrounds of the Main Lodge, they are all within walking distance.

Each cottage has it's own unique character, and has been carefully restored and tastefully furnished.

Fully equipped, and complete with own telephone line and television, these cottages are ideal for families, tour groups and the business community alike. Most cottages have balconies or rooftop terraces with views of the city, harbor or mountain, others have quaint little courtyards.

Nestled on the slopes of Signal Hill and overlooking the Bay, City and famous Table Mountain, De Waterkant Lodge is situated in the characterful and historic area of De Waterkant. Five minutes walk from the city centre, and fifteen minutes walk to the V&A Waterfront, De Waterkant Lodge is the perfect base from which to explore Cape Town. Beautiful Clifton and Camps Bay beaches are only a few minutes drive away.
