Eastford is the first nature orientated residential development to fall within a registered nature reserve under the auspices of the Cape Nature Conservation. The aim of the developers was to eradicate the invasive/alien vegetation and to rehabilitate the area with the planting of indigenous trees and shrubs, which has restored the natural Fauna and Flora.

Accommodation

Accommodation consists of luxurious, fully equipped and serviced holiday homes in an exclusive nature reserve, overlooking the Knysna Lagoon, Heads, Knysna River and Outeniqua Mountains. Each of the 3 self-catering cottages has TV, Hi-fi, Dishwasher, etc and there is a communal pool. The living/dining/kitchen area is an open plan design which flows onto a large deck, overlooking the lagoon and Outeniqua mountains, which also features a braai/BBQ facility.

Eastford: Turn off the N2 at the Eastford sign, 1km west of the town centre, and turn left at our sigh 2 kms up the Old Cape Road.
