Our luxury sea-front suites are conveniently situated on the famous Voelkip (bird rock) Beach. Your suite is so close; you can walk barefoot onto the lovely white sands of the beach and dive into the Indian Ocean. With sweeping views of the ocean from all the units (except - the one Mountain Suite) you can see and hear the whales blow, breach and play from May to November, from the comfort of your bed. Each suite has a little mini-kitchenette for light self catering if preferred of alternatively breakfast is served in the mail lounge downstairs overlooking the amazing view. Stroll on the scenic cliff path that hugs the Hermanus coastline; it must be the most spectacular walk of a life-time! Or hike on the several mountain trails - some winding their way through the Fern Kloof Nature Reserve, well known for its diversity of Cape fynbos (fine bush) or the Blue Flag Grotto Beach, a 20 km walk along the white sands lapped by the Indian Ocean. Hermanus has 2 of South Africa's best golf courses - the well known Hermanus Golf Course and then the famous Arabella links golf course. During your stay there are many activities - Shark cage diving, organised whale watching trips (May to November), bathing, surfing and other water sports.
