Situated on the corner of busy Bill Bezuidenhout Drive & Mountain View Avenue in Bellville, The Lobster Pot is a restaurant that has become something of a landmark in the Northern Suburbs. They started out in the 1950's in Kuils River, moved to Bellville and more recently to Oakdale. Being around for so many years makes the Lobster Pot an institution in it's own right, and you know that that they have years of experience in excellent service, food and value for money.

The view from the restaurant is a breathtaking one of majestic Table Mountain rising like a monolith from across the Cape Flats. On clear nights, the twinkling of the city lights are clearly visible and quite beautiful. The restaurant is upmarket yet the decor is very casual with the interior being done out in cool shades of green and beige. It is a place where guests can feel at ease and relax to the gentle lull of background music.
