Gorgeous
Stepping through the plain wooden doors of this restaurant, you could be
forgiven for imagining for one moment that you had stumbled upon the set of some
theatre production. The d�cor is whimsical, eclectic and certainly attention
grabbing, but it is the splashes of vivid colour in the cushions, the floating
swathes of material and best of all the pink lamp shade, which bring it all
together.
Peter Hayes ( the owner/chef) has had a love affair with food and the theatre
for many years, and has successfully combined his experience of both worlds to
establish this wonderful restaurant in the centre of Cape Town. The menu is
fresh and interesting with exciting combinations such as the biltong and roast
butternut salad, or the tequila gravalax with spring onion pancakes.
