Heidis Coffee Shop
Situated on the lower level of Cavendish Square, this spacious establishment is
efficiently run by Heidi and her capable team of waitresses. Well placed ramps
ensure that this restaurant is ideal for the physically challenged and there is
easy access from the basement. There is plenty of outside seating for those who
enjoy watching the passing parade in the mall, but if you prefer a more intimate
atmosphere with a touch more personal service, then opt for an inside table
where you are sure to see Heidi's faithful dog Wizzard assisting where
possible.
Although there is a delectable array of cakes and home-made muffins on
display in the cake counter, it is worthy of note that Heidi's menu offers 12-15
items which have been approved by the Heart Foundation to ensure that diners can
stick to a healthy eating plan whilst still enjoying a satisfying breakfast,
lunch, or coffee and a muffin. In winter heart-warming soups and comfort foods
such as bobotie and chicken lasagne are extremely popular and a bottomless cup
of coffee is generously available.
