The Cape Colony
The Cape Colony, features modern South African cuisine and contemporary jazz
every evening. The a la carte menu offers a wealth of mouth-watering tastes that
are a fusion of Mediterranean, Cape Malay and Oriental cuisines, while the wine
list comprises a cross-section of wines from many of the Cape's top vineyards.
Dress code - Smart Casual
According to Executive Chef, Garth Stroebel, the secret of the Cape Colony's
success is its unique approach to cuisine, and emphasis on using fresh local
produce and seasonal ingredients. "My menu blends Thai, Italian/Mediterranean
and European with a strong local Cape Malay influence to produce a fusion of
exhilarating flavours," said Garth. "I like to call it Modern South African."
