Dunes
Dunes Restaurant occupies a prime location on the beach front in Hout Bay with
stunning views of Chapman's Peak, the Sentinel, and of course the beach. It's
name is very appropriate since the shimmering sands and dunes stretch endlessly
in both directions.
The decor is contemporary Mediterranean with pale wooden furniture offset by
dramatic lilac upholstery. A spiral staircase winds its way up to the second
floor where there is a well stocked bar to provide you with your favourite
cocktail as you watch the sun go down behind the mountains. There is plenty of
outside seating, for both drinking and dining whilst savouring the wonderful
uninterrupted views.
