whale watching. From July through to December the whales come in close to the
rocks, and such is the popularity of these awesome creatures that the town
organises a yearly Whale Festival to coincide with the September school
holidays.
This very spacious 180-seater restaurant with its distinctive red check
tablecloths and tartan upholstery offers diners a hearty welcome, and there is a
separate comfortable bar area for smokers and sports lovers alike. A well
planned menu ensures that there is plenty of variety to satisfy a wide range of
tastes. Ribs are of course the house speciality and come in various portion
sizes to suit your appetite. Equally popular is the daily carvery, which offers
a selection of roast joints, vegetables and an array of salads.
