The Incredible Fish
Situated in spacious premises at the Hemel-en-Aarde Village, Jenny and Hennie
van der Bijl operate three integral businesses under one roof. First and
foremost, there is a large, well stocked farmstall offering an impressive array
of top quality products. It is hard to ignore the tempting display of bread,
cakes, biscuits, or the mouth-watering deli counter which would satisfy any
aspiring gourmet. Local farmers supply a wide variety of the freshest fruit and
vegetables and there is an excellent range of preserves.
After stocking up at the farmstall wander through to the Meadows Coffee Shop
which offers toasted and open sandwiches, cakes, pastries and crisp salads.
There is also a wholesome selection of pancakes which are excellent value for
money, as the fillings are substantial and each is served with a large side
salad. On cold winter mornings enjoy the warmth of the Welcome Dover stove, or
depending on your preference, stroll through to the other room which has a cosy
open fire and is attractively decorated with a sea theme.
