Restaurant La Taverna
This very successful restaurant has been in the capable hands of owner/chef Hans
Rammesmayer for the past ten years, and continues to offer both locals and
visitors an exceptional dining experience. Originally from Austria, Hans is
committed to culinary excellence, and his magical culinary arts and vast
experience have culminated in the marriage of professional Austrian Cuisine with
local delicacies from both sea and land.
Situated in the heart of Langebaan the restaurant is fortunate to have a
large outside seating area with shady umbrellas which provide welcome relief
from the hot summer sun. Sheltered from the South-Easter, this patio is popular
for al fresco dining both day and night. The spacious interior is charming and
cheerful with bright tablecloths and country style d�cor. On display are some
impressive vintage wines from as far afield as Australia and Argentina and of
course from Hans' home country Austria.
