De Malle Madonna
A few years ago in Gent, Belgium, Madelein Roets and Carine Le Roux sat eating
sandwiches at a street caf�. There the thought to start a similar caf�, within
five years, started. Now that dream has been realized.
De Malle Madonna found her name after much pondering. We wanted an Afrikaans
name that would draw attention. Now we have this funky, feminine name that makes
people wonder, but one that will definitely be remembered. She is the young
woman that sometimes howls at the moon and tries to create her own reality.
