The hotel's main a 'la carte restaurant, the Governors Restaurant opens it's
impressive, wood-panelled doors daily throughout the year. Classically decorated
in rich jewel tones, this stately establishment is home to imposing portraits of
past Cape governors, ensuring that guests dine in fine company.
Here, international cuisine with emphasis on local products is served with an
air of sophistication, with the International Sunday Luncheon Buffet a firm
favourite. Alternatively, the classical outdoor courtyard complete with
gravelled terraces, wrought iron seating and colonial canvas umbrellas. Open
from breakfast through until dinner during the balmy Summer months, and for
lunch and tea on Sundays and Public Holidays during Winter.
